Evaluation and Assessment

Dr. Simon will work with you to outline a specific course of care for your treatment.

He will perform a thorough evaluation in order to determine which course is most appropriate and most effective. This may include questions on the reasons for your seeking chiropractic treatment, health history, other treatments you have undergone, medications, and lifestyle questions.

In addition, a physical examination, laboratory testing, and x-ray or other diagnostic imaging testing may be performed. This information, along with a careful spinal and extremity examination, will provide the information he will need. Your care plan will provide you with an idea of how long, generally, your treatment is expected to take and which methods of care will be used.

Treatment

Dr. Simon has extensive experience and training in the following methods of treatment.

Adjustment Services:
Diversified spinal adjustments
Diversified spinal adjustment is a manual procedure (commonly know as spinal manipulation) that requires the skillful application of pressure to the area of the spine or other joint to correct misalignment and restore function.
Sacro Occipital Technique (S.O.T.)
 S.O.T. is a method of normalizing the relationship between the foundation of the spine and the top of the spine. This treatment is non-force and uses pelvic wedges along with body positioning and your own body’s weight to correct the misalignment
Low Force Instrument Adjusting
Activator and ArthoStim methods use hand-held instruments that deliver consistent low-force impulse to areas of the spine. These allow for gentle and very specific adjustments.
Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy
This technique involves the applying of pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction.
Posture Correction Technique
Posture correction technique involves the use of instruments to deliver gentle and precise chiropractic adjustments to the joints of the spine and extremities to relieve pain, produce anti-aging benefits and reduce neurological distress.
Electrical muscle stimulation

Electrical muscle stimulation uses electrical pulses delivered to specific muscles to reduce inflammation and reduce pain.

Ultrasound treatment Ultrasound treatment is a form of deep heat therapy created by sound waves. GRT Light Therapy uses red and infared light to restore neurological function.
